In Zagreb there is a grounded Solar System. Is an urban installation completed in 2004 by Davor Preis. Planets are all around the city with the correct size and correct dimension at scale 1:680 000 000.
This is something very few people know in Zagreb. When you speak with someone that know it, you will find maybe a couple of them who truly went to see every planet. It is a great opportunity also to walk around Zagreb and to see no touristic areas. You will see on every planet the detail picture and where is located. I wrote also public transportation to reach them. I think by bike it will be fast. Specially for the three external planets it could take 30-40 minutes by bus to reach them. I did it in 2 days, first to go to Pluto, Neptune and Uranus and one for the others. The main planets are really close to each other and it’s a nice walk in the city center and a bit up to hill for Jupiter.
